SUMMER 2021 NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the very first edition of our Newsletter
We’ve created this as a way of keeping in touch with our working partners (or potential partners!) and we will be sending it out once a quarter.
It will always be fairly short and will include team news, topical articles, a spotlight on employee benefits and trends, as well as testimonials and case studies.
We hope that you enjoy reading it, and if there’s anything you would like us to feature in the next edition, please do get in touch.
We are always of course delighted to receive your feedback.
And, if at any time you prefer not to receive the
newsletter, please just let us know.
We’re a strong little team of 7 (soon to be 8) – small but perfectly formed!!
We meet “virtually” every day to talk about success, challenges, and life.
Recently we had a “painting challenge” where we were tasked with painting
a portrait of a colleague.
Meet the Excellect Team in colour!

Our View: Employee Benefits will become more important than ever in attracting and retaining quality people. Employees are willing to change jobs for things that make them happy.
WHO BUYS PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE?
With NHS waiting lists currently standing at 5.12 million (April 2021) due to the pandemic, there has been a shift in who buys medical insurance.
Insurers are reporting people purchasing policies in their 20’s and 30’s
for the very first time.
Employers striving to look after employee wellbeing are seeing it as an option that helps them retain quality employees (and attract new ones).
Employers are competing for the best people and medical insurance is a benefit which can help them stand out as caring and benevolent.
It’s a differentiator against competitors.
Did you know that company medical insurance schemes are
available for as few as 2 employees?
A lovely review that made us all smile!
REINVENTING THE WHEEL.
We’ve recently made some changes to the Excellect Benefits wheel, not only to bring it up to date, but also to reflect “Partner Power” – the trusted Partners we work alongside to assist us with specialist areas for our clients.
We are always keen to meet new Partners and are always happy to introduce
them to each other.
